Introduction

Dance and Movement Based Research is a method of inquiry and discovery, which uses dance and movement to collect and represent data.  This method recognizes that the body is a source of knowledge and the mind and body are fully connected. This method has been implemented more seriously in Great Britain, Canada, and Australia (Leavy, 2009).
